Welcome Everyone!
Today I had my very first EDCI 336 class. As someone who still takes notes with a pen and paper I was a little daunted going into this subject matter. While I am admittedly addicted to my phone, am obsessed with Netflix, listen to podcasts daily, and can’t imagine having a question that I couldn’t just look up immediately I don’t know how any of this tech works. I can help my grandma get her new phone set up but when she asks me what the cloud is I have no actual answer-it just is. That all being said, this class doesn’t sound so daunting after being in class and knowing everyone else had similar concerns.
So far, we have had to use technology that hasn’t been too challenging. I use a lot of it already in my daily life for work, or at least similar products so I am feeling sufficiently eased in. I am more worried now about what I am going to talk to you all about every week! But, as we progress and as I start to try new things I know that I will probably have lots to say.
